Our lives do not happen in a vacuum; we are impacted by larger systems in society every day. As a psychotherapist I recognize the intersectionality of the identities that we hold and its impact on how we move through the world. My work is rooted in affirming the experiences of individuals who identify as queer, transgender/GNC, sex workers, non-monogamous/polyamorous, and disabled. Body neutrality, Health At Every Size (HAES), and sex positivity are core values of my clinical practice.

I specialize in working with folks who have experienced trauma, with a focus on religious and sexual trauma; as well as individuals exploring their gender identity and sexuality. Working from a trauma-informed perspective, I also work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, and burnout. I take an integrative approach to therapy based on client needs. I enjoy incorporating aspects of ACT, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness.

As a white queer woman, I am committed to challenging systems of oppression and rejecting internalized white supremacy; both in my own life and as part of my work with clients. I practice a collaborative and non-judgmental approach through an anti-capitalist strengths-based lens. Using an eclectic approach, I work with clients to develop clarity and self-acceptance around sexuality and gender identity, learn to feel safe and grounded through trauma triggers, and develop a deeper sense of self-compassion. If you resonate with what I have shared and think we could be a good match to work together; please feel free to reach out for a brief consultation.
