Hello!

My name is Emily and I am a queer, nonbinary artist and therapist-in-training. In my experience, inner voices can be loud and overwhelming. Within us there may be anxiety, self-criticism, fear, and insecurity. Sometimes we struggle to make sense of our actions or even act outside of our values. What I promise you is that within you there is also a deeply compassionate, courageous, and confident leader who is grounded in your values. My goal is to help you navigate your internal world and better understand all parts of you, helping you feel more in control, balanced, and connected to your core self.

My style is curious, compassionate, and creative. Our work together will involve exploring your inner “parts”, your past, your experience of various systems of oppression, and acknowledging what feelings come up for you in your body. My top priority is making you feel safe. From there we will work on developing self-compassion and understanding.

Some of the topics I can help you navigate include: identity development, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, spirituality, life transitions, mood difficulties, family dynamics, trauma, the impact of society and systems, culture and cultural identity, and gender and sexual identity. I am passionate about working with those who have experienced trauma.

I want to honor your resilience and courage in seeking help. I would be delighted to walk alongside you as you investigate your inner landscape and tap into your innate ability to grow and heal.
